Intensive Family Services

Guidance and Support for your Child Welfare Case

Families participating in this program will be matched with a dedicated Family  SpecialiEmpowerment Specialist (FES). These specialists will collaborate closely with families and the Family Support Team to create treatment plans aligned with the objectives set by the court.
Our FES team will work directly with families in their homes and communities weekly, serving as a vital link to essential resources and providing valuable education. This education will cover a wide range of topics, including budgeting, meal planning, effective parenting, transportation solutions, housing options, employment opportunities, and Medicaid/SNAP/Childcare application processes.

Benefits
For participants: Parents who have Children's Division involvement often lack the support, individualized assistance, and access to services they need to provide a pathway for healing and reunification with their children. The IFS program provides counseling, easily accessible classes, support and advocacy that helps provide real help and hope for parents in difficult situations.

For the community: Healthy, reunited families isn't just good for families; it is good for our community! By helping  provide support and advocacy to keep families together or reunite as quickly as possible we are creating a healthier and happier community.
