What is a community Leader?
A community leader is an individual who takes an active role in guiding and organizing efforts within a community. This person often plays a key role in fostering positive change, addressing community needs, and promoting collaboration among community members. Their responsibilities may include advocacy, resource mobilization, and facilitating communication to enhance community development and cohesion.
Community Leaders in Missouri's Childhood initiative provide assistance to families with children aged birth to five. This collaborative support system aims to equip families with the information and resources needed to make well-informed decisions regarding the safety, health, and education of their children. Across the state, Missouri Childhood Community Leaders are present in seven regions. Discover your region's Community Leader by clicking the button below. |
